The first three whiskies
Our first release whisky, named ‘Pandora’, for both the ship tasked with bringing the mutineers of Captain Bligh’s ship The Bounty to justice, and for the woman in Greek mythology who’s known for bringing both chaos and hope into the world.
It began maturation in a Captain Bligh’s 'Keelhaul’ strong ale cask, before being transferred to a refill bourbon cask for a gentler finishing.
The Collector’s Edition is the first 50 bottles packaged in wood and individually numbered. This whisky cask filled only 190 bottles in total.
Gorgon, the second release was three first-fill sherry casks, PX, cream and Oloroso married together after the first year into another first-fill PX cask. After a few years developing complexity and an incredibly intensity, it was moved to a refill bourbon cask to slow the maturation, before finally being moved to one of our own rum casks for a lengthy finishing.
Defiance is an ode to the distiller’s favourite whiskies from Islay, Scotland.
